Antonio Tamburro was born in Isernia in 1948 and began studying art at a young age. He traveled to Naples to study with master Giovanni Brancaccio and then Rome with master Franco Gentilini. His career continued in Italy and throughout Europe as he continued painting and exhibiting his artwork.
Tamburro’s reputation spread in 1986 when his artwork was published in Vogue magazine. In 2003 during the White Night of Rome, Taburro is included in a collective in the Michelangelo gallery with Calabria, Sughi, Matta, and Accardi. His most recent exhibitions took place in Berlin, Milan, and Manaco, and RSFA gallery is proud to make available his work in Aspen.
