“I don’t think I’m an artist; I think I’m a painter. My creativity has fallen into that realm. I can do lots of creative things. A lot of times people say ‘you’re an artist.’ My main focus has been on painting. It’s for everybody out there to determine whether I’m an artist.
I painted one silhouette with it’s shadow, and that’s when I knew that I had something. That was the birth of the populace. From that single one, we went on do paintings that contained 80, then 100, then 300, and began to broaden the idea.
